“I chose the Bachelor of Global and International Studies (BGInS) program to broaden my perspective surrounding issues of inequality and poverty on a global scale. Through my specialization in Global Development, I have gained interdisciplinary knowledge that helped me think critically about how to approach such issues and actively approach my role as a global citizen. I have seen what I have learned in class come to life through my IER. Being surrounded by a group of globally-minded academics has challenged me, inspired me, and allowed me to build life-long relationships. Aynsley Persad Global Development |
