Dr. Ata Khan is an expert on sustainable and intelligent transportation systems and the director of the Transportation Research Centre, housed in the department of civil and environmental engineering at 杏吧原创 University. Recently, he co-led a national team that used 鈥渟mart鈥� technology to simulate the driving experience in cars in order to research safer and more efficient transportation. Follow up studies are planned on 鈥榠ntelligent driving鈥� involving cars and transit for enhancing safety, efficiency and reducing environmental impacts.
