Student Bio
Marine Segui has finished on June 2022 her Ph.D thesis. She realized her studies under Dr Ruxandra Botez supervision at 鈥淓cole de Technologie Superieure鈥 (ETS) in Montreal (Canada). She graduated her general engineering studies in Paris (EPF school) and her master studies in aerospace at Montr茅al (ETS). From 2016 to 2022, she worked at the Research Laboratory in Active Controls, Avionics and AeroServoElasticity (LARCASE) in Montr茅al as a research assistant. She worked on aerodynamic and performances analysis of several aircraft equipped with a morphing wing system. She applied her studies for several type of aircraft including the Cessna Citation X (Business Jet), the Bombardier CRJ700 (Regional Jet) or the Hydra Unmanned Aerial System S4 Eh茅catl and the S45 Balaam. She also worked on industrial projects that consisted in modelling brushless motor based on intelligence artificial methodologies. That type of model are then useful to conduct several analyses such as electric consumption, range or efficiency. Since July 2022 Marine is employed at Thales Canada in Montr茅al. She works as a system specialist (IVV) in order to develop flight control computers that will equip the future generation of aircraft.
Marine Segui a obtenu un doctorat en Juin 2022 脿 l鈥櫭塩ole de Technologie Sup茅rieure (ETS) de Montr茅al (Canada), r茅aslis茅 sous la supervision de la professeur Ruxandra Botez. Auparavant, elle a 茅t茅 diplom茅e d鈥櫭﹖udes g茅n茅ralistes d鈥檌ng茅nieur 脿 Paris (茅coles EPF) et d鈥檜ne maitrise en g茅nie a茅rospatial 脿 Montr茅al (ETS). Entre 2016 et 2022, elle a travaill茅 au laboratoire de recherche en contr么le, avionique et a茅roservo茅lasticit茅 (LARCASE) 脿 Montr茅al en tant qu鈥檃ssistante de recherche. Ses travaux ont permis l鈥檃nalyse de l鈥檃茅rodynamique et des performances de diff茅rents avions 茅quip茅s de syst猫mes d茅formables en vol. Ses techniques ont 茅t茅 appliqu茅es sur diff茅rent types d鈥檃vion incluant le Cessna Citation X (jet d鈥檃ffaire), le Bombardier CRJ700 (avion r茅gional) et les drones Hydra S4 Eh茅catl et S45 Balaam. Elle a aussi r茅alis茅 des 茅tudes pour mod茅liser les moteurs 茅lectriques d鈥檜n drone bas茅 sur des m茅thodes d鈥檌ntelligences artificielles dans le but de pouvoir effectuer diverses analyses comme la consommation 茅lectrique, la port茅e possible ou les conditions d鈥檈fficacit茅s optimales. Depuis Juillet 2022, Marine est employ茅e chez Thales Canada 脿 Montr茅al. Elle travaille comme sp茅cialiste syst猫me IVV dans le but de d茅velopper les calculateurs de vol qui pourront 茅quiper la prochaine g茅n茅ration d鈥檃茅ronefs.
