This innovative, cross-institutional initiative provides instructors with grants of up to $8,000 each to work with colleagues at the partner university in developing online courses or modules. Through this collaborative work, instructors will have more flexibility in delivering courses and programs, while providing high-quality learning experiences for students across both institutions.

Grant recipients will be fully supported by instructional designers, educational technologists and librarians from the participating institutions during the design and development phase of their online projects.

Instructors who are interested in this initiative should submit a proposal to both tls@carleton.ca and viceprovost-acad@uottawa.ca by midnight on October 30, 2020.

Find out more about the SOPI grant and the proposal process here.

If you have any questions, please direct them to tls@carleton.ca.
