There are four award categories and one grant currently open for applications, including the , the and the . These awards recognize and enhance excellence in teaching for faculty, instructors and contract instructors, and outstanding professional achievements for professional librarians. .

You can also apply for a . These awards recognize outstanding research achievements and aim to enhance research productivity of faculty members.

Finally, contract instructors can apply for the . The grant provides support for investigating student learning and alternative approaches to teaching and assessing student learning at the individual, departmental, faculty, or institutional levels.

Overall, there are 28 individual awards available. To apply for an award or grant, or to nominate a colleague, forward your name to the executive assistant/administrative officer in your respective faculty Dean’s Office. Prior to the submission deadline, you will be provided with an account to make your application online. You will also be able to submit a hard copy.

The deadline to submit TAA or RAA applications to your faculty Dean鈥檚 Office is Monday, Oct. 31, 2016. The deadline to submit a PAA, CITA or CITI application to the Provost鈥檚 Office is Sunday, Nov. 20, 2016. Please consult with the University Librarian regarding the application process and deadlines for the PAA for professional librarians.

The Teaching Achievement Awards for faculty and instructors, the Professional Achievement Awards for librarians and instructors, and the Contract Instructor Teaching Award for contract instructors are administered by the Office of the Provost and Vice-President (Academic). These awards recognize outstanding scholarly achievement and to enhance excellence in teaching. You may apply directly or choose to nominate a colleague. For more information, please .

Research Achievement Awards
The Research Achievement Awards are administered by the Office of the Vice-President (Research and International). The purpose of these awards is to recognize outstanding research achievements and to enhance research productivity. You may apply directly or choose to nominate a colleague. Applications and Deadlines
To apply for an award or nominate a colleague, forward your name to the Executive Assistant/Administrative Officer in your respective Faculty Office of the Dean.
