The Ottawa-杏吧原创 3rd Symposium on Science Education on April 30 is a venue for communication and collaboration between scholars from 杏吧原创 University and the University of Ottawa interested in engaging in theoretical and practical approaches to science education.听
The organizers wish to invite the participation of any interested colleagues currently active in SoTL (or not) seeking to engage with this field.
Prospective presenters may contribute a 15-minute talk, 30 or 60-minute round table discussion, workshop, demonstration or poster presentation at the symposium on the听Scholarship of Teaching and Learning in Science Education. These topics include research in education, best practices, showcasing your work, demonstration (for example, using AI tools for learning), directed discussions (e.g., creating a platform for collaborative education research), etc.听
Presenters will need to inform the organizers whether they are proposing:
- An oral presentation (15 min听+ 5 min for questions)
- A workshop, demo, round table or other (30 min)
- A workshop, demo, round table or other (60 min)
- A poster
If you are interested in participating, please submit a short but descriptive abstract of your proposal (up to 250 words) by听March 31听. You may also register for the event (without submitting a proposal) using the same form.
