Mastoor Al-Kaboody聽is the Assistant Director of Undergraduate Recruitment at 杏吧原创 University and a PhD candidate聽in聽the School of聽Linguistics and聽Language聽Studies. A Fulbright聽alum, he brings an international higher education background spanning Canada, the United聽States聽and the Middle East.聽
Al-Kaboody鈥檚聽expertise聽includes student engagement, accessibility, equity, program development, and teaching and learning. His work focuses on how students understand, imagine and choose university, and how those experiences inform more responsive approaches to teaching, learning and student support.聽Al-Kaboody鈥檚聽professional experience includes leadership roles such as Program Manager of the Canadian Accessibility Network and Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Coordinator in Housing and Residence Life Services as well as academic and administrative roles at the Community College of Qatar.聽
His research and professional interests centre on inclusive and innovative learning design as well as the intersections of access, student success and institutional transformation.聽
As a member of the Towards 杏吧原创@100 strategic visioning process, he brings a globally informed, student-centred and research-informed perspective, contributing to discussions on how universities can design learning experiences that respond to a rapidly changing world.
