Stewart, Rick

Adjunct Professor

Rick Stewart is currently the executive director of the (RGI) and co-director of the Career Development for Regulatory Professionals (CDRP) program in the School of Public Policy and Administration. Prior to assuming these current roles, Rick served for over 30 years in the federal public service after starting his career as an economic consultant in the private sector. During his public service career, he held a variety of senior executive positions in several different departments, including Finance (international affairs and trade), the Canada Revenue Agency (legislative & regulatory affairs), the Privy Council Office (financial/budget advisor) and Citizenship & Immigration (policy & service delivery operations). Most of these positions entailed responsibility for regulatory leadership and management.

Rick completed both his bachelor鈥檚 and master鈥檚 degrees in economics at Queen鈥檚 University (Kingston).
