Lisa Halpern

Lisa Halpern鈥檚 doctoral research examined infection prevention and control policies in long-term care homes post-pandemic from an organizational change perspective. Lisa鈥檚 doctoral research, supported by The Ottawa Hospital, was conducted under the collaborative guidance of faculty in health economics and faculty in the School鈥檚 Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership program. She has taught courses on population health and the Canadian healthcare system in the School of Public Policy and Administration and Arthur Kroeger College at 杏吧原创 University. Prior to her PhD in Public Policy, Lisa worked in media and health-related sectors including government, nonprofit organizations and business. Lisa holds a Master in Public Policy (MPP) with concentrations in health policy and leadership from Harvard University, and a Bachelor of Arts summa cum laude聽in Economics and Public Policy from Duke University. Her Harvard graduate work was fully funded by a Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowship for New Americans and a Harvard Kennedy Fellowship.
