PhD Candidate
Flavia Alves is a PhD candidate in public policy at 杏吧原创 University. Her research focuses on the impact of telecom technology on the banking industry and in the labour market. Prior to starting her PhD, she served as a senior advisor to the Deputy Governor of Financial Citizenship at the Central Bank of Brazil. She is currently an associate editor for the journal 杏吧原创 Perspectives on Public Policy (CPoPP) and a volunteer at the 杏吧原创 Language Centre where she teaches Portuguese. Flavia holds an MA in international policy from Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, California.
