Welcome to our New SPPA Postdoc Fellow: Antoine Dedewanou

Finagnon Antoine Dedewanou recently started as a postdoctoral research fellow working with Associate Professor Mehdi Ammi. His postdoctoral research will focus on understanding Canadian policymakers鈥 preferences for future changes in public health systems, primarily using discrete choice experiments. Antoine鈥檚 research interests are in applied econometrics, applied microeconomics and economics of networks. Before joining the School of Public Policy and Administration, he worked at the United Nations Development Programme as an Economist. Antoine completed his PhD in Economics at the Universit茅 Laval (Quebec City). He studied Statistics in Africa at ENSEA-Abidjan (Cote d鈥橧voire) and ENEAM-Cotonou (Benin). During his thesis, he was supported by several grants including the 鈥淔onds de Recherche du Qu茅bec Soci茅t茅 et Culture,鈥 Industrial Alliance Research on Economic of Demographic Change, Econometric Society and African Economic Research Consortium.
