Sociology PhD student Megan Linton has published an article with Professor Kelly Fritsch in the most recent issue of the聽Journal of Literary and Cultural Disability Studies.听The article is titled 鈥淐ripistemologies of Drug Use Against Institutional Carceral Ableism鈥澛燼nd brings together critical drug studies and critical disability studies聽to unpack some of the ways transinstitutional carceral ableism conjoins control strategies of punishment-therapy-abandonment to note its debilitating and deadly consequences and ways of resisting.
