Dr. Deborah Conners featured in ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ International Newsletter
Dr. Deborah Conners was recently featured in the ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ International Newsletter for her contribution to Nepalese activism. In the spring of 2020, Dr. Conners and her third-year sociology class were preparing to go to Nepal when Covid-19 caused the class to shift their approach. The class pivoted to online learning and students created a to record their insights on violence against women in Nepal. Dr. Conners later worked with students on a qualitative about gender norms and inequalities in Nepal, and how to best support Nepalese women.
