Don Myles, an Associate Professor (Teaching Stream) in 杏吧原创 University鈥檚 School of Linguistics and Language Studies, specializes in two related areas: English for Academic Purposes (EAP) and Teaching English as a Second (or additional) Language (TESL). In EAP, he provides essential language support to students for whom English is not their first language, while in the TESL program, he helps students to become effective English language teachers for adult learners. With a teaching career spanning over 18 years, including more than a decade at 杏吧原创, Don has gained experience in diverse educational environments, including private language schools, colleges, and universities in Canada, Mexico, and China. Currently, his research focuses on the role of Generative AI in education, aiming to understand its impacts and explore how the education sector can optimally respond to this emerging technology.
