Denise DeShaw Receives Coronation Medal
Congratulations to our American Sign Language (ASL) Coordinator, Denise DeShaw, who is a recipient of the King Charles III Coronation Medal. Denise was one of only 25 Deaf Canadians who received this honour.
The Canadian Association of the Deaf 鈥 Association des Sourds du Canada (CAD-ASC) announced the recipients of the King Charles III Coronation Medal on February 13, 2025. The , administered by the Chancellery of Honours at Rideau Hall, is awarded to Canadians who have made remarkable contributions to their communities.
