Erik Anonby Receives Marston LaFrance Fellowship
Congratulations to Prof. Erik Anonby for receiving the Marston LaFrance Fellowship, FASS鈥檚 senior research achievement award.
Anonby will use the time awarded by the fellowship to move scholarship and public discourses forward through the completion of a first benchmark map of the languages of Iran.
鈥淔or all Iranians, this map provides an opportunity to showcase the country鈥檚 linguistic heritage, and for the first time, members of minority language communities that account for over half of the country鈥檚 population will see themselves represented in a way that accounts for their extent and diversity.鈥
