Active Learning Classrooms @ �Ӱ�ԭ��!

Scheduling and Examination Services (SES) is excited to announce the opening of two (2) Active Learning Classrooms (ALC) at �Ӱ�ԭ��! These new, interactive classrooms will allow student-centered pedagogical approaches by ensuring that classroom environments facilitate communication, collaboration, and interaction between learners, and between instructors and learners. 2014 Class Schedule Now Available

The 2014-2015 class schedule is now available in .

You can now start to plan your registration by building and saving draft worksheets in �Ӱ�ԭ�� Central. It is highly recommended that you prepare multiple worksheets as courses have limited seating and many fill up quickly once registration begins. Having a variety of registration scenarios prepared in advance of registration will help you complete your registration more quickly when your time-ticket opens.

A list of time-tickets is available at the. In addition to this, personalized time-tickets will be available via the first step of registration in �Ӱ�ԭ�� Central for first year students on June 4 and for returning students on June 16.

*Please note that time-ticket assignment is automated within the registration system and cannot be adjusted, it is based on year level and status of the individual student.

Enterprise Portal Launch

Ad hoc requests can now be made through the newly launched Enterprise Portal! The Enterprise Portal displays all courses and ad hoc events for public viewing. �Ӱ�ԭ�� University faculty and staff can use the portal to check for room availablities and to request bookable rooms. April 10th is the last day of classes, Undergraduates follow a Friday schedule

Wednesday, April 10th is the last day of classes for the term.

Please note that undergraduate classes will follow a Friday schedule. Graduate classes will resume as normal with a Wednesday schedule.

University Centre Level 2 Renovations – Notice of Work

Commencing Monday, November 14^th through to January 15^th, 2012 portions of the University Centre second floor are scheduled for renovation.

The construction work involves renovations to the washrooms as well as repairs and lighting improvements to the corridor ceilings in front of Porter Hall and the classrooms. During this time the University Centre Level 2 washrooms will be closed.

Ceilings containing asbestos containing drywall joint compound will be removed as per the procedures outlined in Ontario Regulation 278/05. The asbestos work is limited to the washrooms, and will be completed in the early stage of the project.

The work in the corridor ceilings is restricted to between 10 PM and 6 AM.

A listing of course offerings (without scheduled dates and times) is now available in �Ӱ�ԭ�� Central and the Public Class Schedule for students to view. Effective June 15, the Timetable will include detailed scheduling information and instructors.
