Call for Faculty Representatives to serve on Senate
The ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ University Senate is seeking nominations from faculty members to fill upcoming vacancies for 3-year terms beginning July 1, 2026. Have your say in the academic governance and future of ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ University by running for Senate.
Remaining vacancies, as of July 7, are outlined below:
- Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences – 2 vacancies
- Faculty of Public & Global Affairs – 1 vacancy
Candidates may put their names forward, or another faculty member can nominate them. All nominations must include the support of three other faculty members.
During the regular nomination period in February and March, elections are held for contested positions. Nominations for vacancies remaining after March 2 will be accepted until positions are filled.

Application and Process
Interested candidates are encouraged to complete the online application and submit a statement of candidacy to be used in the event of an election. All nominations must include the support of three other faculty members. Nominations and letters of support must be received by Mar. 2, 2026 (Note: Vacancies remaining after March 30 will be listed above, and nominations will be accepted until positions are filled.)

Elections
Online elections will be held March 10-11, 2026, for any contested positions. If a position is not contested, the nominated candidate will be acclaimed and no election will be required.
