AI4Good Lab is accepting applications for the 2022 AI4Good Lab cohort!

Our 7-week machine learning (ML) training program provides education, mentorship, and hands-on project experience to women and people whose genders are underrepresented in the Artificial Intelligence (AI) industry.

If your students would like to learn more about the program and ask questions to former AI4Good Lab participants and the AI4Good Lab team, in partnership with CIFAR. The Q & A will take place on January 25th at 5:00 PM EST.

    • We charge no tuition听听fees ($75 registration fee for accepted applicants only)
  • Stipend:
  • Every participant receives a stipend of minimum $500
  • Location:
  • Virtual with possibility of in-person opportunities in Montreal, Edmonton, and/or Toronto

Eligibility:

  • Women and gender minorities (2SLGBTQ+ inclusive)
  • Valid status to study or work in Canada
  • Registered at a post-secondary institution or have recently graduated
  • Strong math background, some Python programming experience
  • No machine learning experience necessary!

Program summary:

  • 4-week machine learning bootcamp with lectures from Canadian AI researchers including Dr. Doina Precup
  • Speaker series from top industry professionals, ML researchers, and social good leaders
  • 3-week development of ML projects for social good. Participants work in teams and receive mentorship from AI experts
