Biography
Leila Mostaço-Guidolin, Ph.D., P.Eng., is a Tier 2 Canada Research Chair in Imaging and Biomaterials Characterization and an Associate Professor in Systems and Computer Engineering at ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ University. Her interdisciplinary research integrates advanced imaging, tissue engineering, and machine learning to investigate extracellular matrix remodeling in chronic lung diseases and fibrosis. She co-directs the Tissue Engineering and Applied Materials (TEAM) Hub, a collaborative research network spanning academia, hospitals, and government agencies. Her work advances predictive models of disease progression and fosters the development of translational therapeutic strategies.
