Two Best Paper Awards!
PhD student Jean-Daniel Medjo Me Biomo and supervisors Thomas Kunz and Marc St-Hilaire, won the Best Paper Award for Exploiting multiple beam antennas for end-to-end delay reduction in ad hoc networks, at the , Niagara Falls, Canada, September 2017.
Norman Lim (recently graduated PhD student), Shikharesh Majumdar, and Peter Ashwood-Smith (Huawei) won the Best Paper Award for A Run Time Technique for Handling Error in User-estimated Execution Times on Systems Processing MapReduce Jobs with Deadlines at the , held in Prague in August 2017.
