Best Paper Award at International Conference on Traffic Engineering
Samy Mahmoud, Viktor Toth, and co-authors won the award for the best paper presented at the conference at the , part of the 2nd World Congress on Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering in Barcelona, Spain.
The paper by Hussain Al-Harthei , Viktor Toth, Atef Garib, and Samy Mahmoud is entitled Efficient Real-time Allocation of Patrol Cars in Traffic Management. It is scheduled to appear in the the inaugural issue of a new journal on Traffic Engineering.
The paper is part of a major research project on “smart traffic technology and traffic management IT systems” that Prof. Mahmoud is leading.
