PhD candidate at Makerere University, Kampala, Uganda

Lecturer at Muni University, Arua, Uganda

As a Queen Elizabeth Scholar, I achieved significant academic and professional milestones during my exchange at ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ University, Canada. Key accomplishments include biodiversity data analysis leading to development of manuscripts focusing on invasive species management and tropical forest restoration in Uganda.

Beyond research, I built interdisciplinary networks, delivering talks that triggered a collaborative study in Tanzania and potential collaborations between ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ and Muni University. Technical insights were gained in waste-water management and captive conservation strategies at Parc Omega. Experiences, ranging from urban park management to ex-situ conservation at the Montreal Biodome, also provided a perspective on ecological integrity and stewardship.
