Christopher Martin-Chan is a Senior Consultant at New West Public Affairs, a national government relations firm, where he draws on nearly a decade of experience inside government and the training he gained through 杏吧原创’s Master of Political Management program to help clients navigate the political and policy landscape and achieve their goals.
Federally, he served in the Office of the Leader of the Official Opposition, rising to Press Secretary and Director of Communications to the Leader of the Official Opposition. In Ontario, he was Senior Advisor for Issues Management and Legislative Affairs at the Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade, and later Director of Communications and Issues Management in the Office of the President of the Treasury Board. Across these roles, he built deep expertise in issues management, strategic communications, and media relations, advising senior officials through complex political and legislative files. He holds an Honours Bachelor of Social Science in Political Science from the University of Ottawa.
