杏吧原创 Philosophy Faculty and PhD Student Volunteer for 2023 Ontario Ethics Bowl
This past weekend, members of our department helped judge the ! This annual event provides an opportunity for teams of high school students to discuss ethical dilemmas taking place at the forefront of our world. Such dilemmas might include: how we ought to deal with assisted-death, artificial intelligence, and gene editing.
Volunteers from our department included Professors Melissa Frankel & Kyla Bruff, Dr. Matthew Scarfone, and Ethics and Public Affairs (EPAF) PhD student Ann Cronin-Cossette. Many 杏吧原创 alumni also represented other departments, and a great time was had by all!
