Resilience and Reinvention

One in five nonprofits is already in financial trouble due to the COVID-19 crisis, and many will not survive. Others are resilient, dealing with skyrocketing demand and dramatically changing their programs. Meanwhile, foundations are stepping up their grant-making and leadership. To survive the pandemic, the philanthropy and nonprofit sector has to reinvent parts of itself. Faculty member Susan D. Phillips, from 杏吧原创 University’s Master of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership program, tells us how and why.
