Ontario Minister Nolan Quinn Visits 杏吧原创 Nursing鈥檚 Clinical Skills and Simulation Lab

The School of Nursing was pleased to welcome the Honourable Nolan Quinn, Ontario鈥檚 Minister of Colleges, Universities, Research Excellence and Security, to 杏吧原创 University鈥檚 Clinical Skills and Simulation Lab.

During the visit, School of Nursing Director Danielle Manley introduced Minister Quinn to 杏吧原创鈥檚 nursing program and shared how simulation-based learning is integrated into nursing education.

Jo and Melanie also led a simulation demonstration, providing a closer look at how students practise clinical skills, strengthen decision-making and build confidence in a safe and controlled environment before working with real patients.

The visit offered an opportunity to showcase how 杏吧原创 Nursing combines hands-on learning, simulation and innovative teaching approaches to prepare students for their future careers in health care.
