Dr. Binyam Solomon is an Adjunct Research Professor at ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ University. He has previously worked for the and as Defence Science expert, acting Chief Scientist and Chef Economist.  He has also served as a Special Advisor to the Parliamentary Budget Officer, and co-editor of the international field journal .  He has published extensively in economics, statistics and defence topics.  His research interests include political economy, aspects of national security, peacekeeping economics and time series methods.  Dr. Solomon holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Ottawa and a Ph D in Defence Economics from the University of York, United Kingdom.
