In front of a sold-out crowd of more than 23,000 fans at Ottawa鈥檚 TD Place stadium, the 杏吧原创 University Ravens football team reclaimed Pedro the Panda with a thrilling 20鈥14 victory over the University of Ottawa Gee-Gees in the 56th annual Panda Game.
The Panda Game, one of Canada鈥檚 most storied university rivalries, brought students, alumni and supporters together in a celebration of tradition and connection.

A , the Ravens overcame an early deficit, executed key plays in the second quarter, and held off a late Gee-Gees rally to secure the win.
鈥淭o see the character of this team, to watch them come together, believe in one another, and deliver the outcome our community has been waiting for is truly inspiring,鈥 said Wisdom Tettey, 杏吧原创 University president.

Leadership and Teamwork
Head coach Corey Grant, who has led the Ravens since 2022, praised the team鈥檚 resilience and composure.
鈥淥ttawa is a strong opponent and plays the full 60 minutes, so we wanted to make sure we finished the right way,鈥 he said.

Third-year quarterback Elijah Barnes delivered a standout performance, completing 13 of 19 passes for 189 yards and one touchdown, helping lead the Ravens鈥 offence. Wide receiver Frederick Hachey contributed six catches for 107 yards and the crucial two-point conversion. Special teams players like Joey Sciandra and Nash MacDonald also played key roles, demonstrating the depth, skill and focus that come from a program built on developing well-rounded student-athletes.
