Carment is a series editor for Palgrave鈥檚 Canada and International Affairs, editor of Canadian Foreign Policy Journal and fellow of the Canadian Global Affairs Institute. His research focuses on Canadian foreign policy, mediation and negotiation, fragile states and diaspora politics.
He is the author, editor or co-editor of 21 books and has authored or co-authored over 90 peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters. His most recent books focus on diaspora cooperation, corruption in Canada, branding Canadian foreign policy and state fragility.

Fen Hampson

Lee is happy to discuss the potential impact of Trump and potential tariffs on the Canadian economy..
Lee has appeared multiple times before the House of Commons and Senate finance, banking, industry and trade committees. He has been in every Government of Canada budget lockup since 2008. He attended pre-budget consultations with the Minister of Finance in 2009 and 2011. His work has appeared in the annual publication, How Ottawa Spends, concerning Canada鈥檚 retirement system, the Parliamentary Budget Officer, deficits, corporate income reform, and more.

Stephen Saideman

Saideman is available to discuss Trump鈥檚 possible impact on foreign affairs and defence policy, including NATO. His research interests focus on the causes and consequences of intervention in intra-state conflicts. His current research deals with the role of legislatures in democratic civil-military relations. He teaches courses on contemporary international security, civil-military relations, and United States foreign, and defence policy.

Brian Schmidt

Schmidt is an American citizen whose research interests are international relations theory, American foreign policy, American domestic politics, U.S.-Canada relations and disciplinary history. His book The Political Discourse of Anarchy, which received the Choice 1998 Outstanding Academic Book Award, examines the history of International Relations from the mid-1800s to the outbreak of World War Two. He continues to pursue research on the history of the field and has published numerous articles on the historiography of International Relations. At 杏吧原创, Schmidt teaches courses on international relations theory, the causes of war, the United Nations, and American foreign policy.
