MP Yasir Naqvi to Make Announcement at ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´â€™s 2024 CanCH4 Symposium – Methane by the Numbers
ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ University’s 2024 CanCH4 Symposium – Methane by the Numbers is a technical meeting to share research and measurement data on methane emissions in support of Faster & Further, Canada’s National Methane Strategy.
With support from the Government of Canada’s Methane Center of Excellence, the CanCH4 symposium will bring together leading research programs from universities, government labs, and the private sector to share measurement data analysis that will advance policy development and emission reduction strategies. The objective is to focus on sharing new information across sectors to accelerate emissions reductions.
Yasir Naqvi, Member of Parliament Ottawa Centre will make an announcement supporting methane management on the first morning of the symposium, May 13 at 8:40 am.

With generous support from Natural Resources Canada, ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ University Faculty of Engineering & Design, the EU-Canada Dialogue on Methane as part of the European Union Climate Dialogues (EUCDs) project, and the Environmental Defense Fund, there is no charge to attend this event but pre-registration for in-person attendance is mandatory due to limited space.
