Celebrating ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ Champions: Join us in Honoring the Ravens Women’s Basketball and Nordic Skiing Teams

ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ University invites you to join us for a celebration of excellence in women’s sports. ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ will be holding an event bringing together the ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ community in honour of the championship success of our Ravens women’s basketball and Nordic skiing teams.

When: Wednesday, March 20, 2024, doors open at 10:15 am, the program begins at 10:30 am
Where: Tory Building, Foyer

The women’s basketball team’s thrilling 70-67 victory over the Saskatchewan Huskies earned them their  and third championship win in just six years. With this latest title coming home to the Nest, the ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ Ravens’ legacy of basketball excellence has grown to a jaw-dropping 20 national championship wins in the last 21 years.

The women’s Nordic skiing team captured the program’s  at this week’s Nordique Canada Championships. A dynasty in its own right, the team has won seven of the last eight OUA Women’s Championships.
