ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ Recognized as One of Canada's Top 100 Employers for Third Consecutive Year

ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ University has been named one of for the third consecutive year. This national honour recognizes the university’s commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive workplace, where employees are offered opportunities to grow their skills and explore ways to enhance their careers.

Employee wellness is a priority for the university and is supported by ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´’s nationally certified Healthy Workplace initiative. ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ is the first Canadian university committed to Excellence Canada’s Healthy Workplace and Mental Health at Work standards. Connected Campus Community

ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ encourages a sense of community through a variety of activities. The Service Excellence Awards honour the outstanding contributions that staff and faculty make each day. Campus-wide events such as the annual holiday celebration and employee appreciation activities bring departments and units together.

ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ is committed to ensuring a work environment that embraces diversity, inclusivity and accessibility, allowing all community members to feel welcome and supported. The university offers related education, training and development opportunities through Equity and Inclusive Communities. ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ employees can also make an impact beyond campus’s borders. Faculty and staff have organized the annual United Way campaign at ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ for more than 45 years – raising more than $85,000 for the charity in 2023. Employees can also take paid time off to volunteer for initiatives of their choice.
