Emergency Notification System (ENS) Test – Update #2
We wanted to provide a further update following the March 28 test of the ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ Emergency Notification System (ENS).
Thank you to all members of the campus community for your feedback following the test. We have had an opportunity to review the survey results. One area that was highlighted was around the delay in the push notification through the ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ Mobile app.
We have met with the developer and are working together to further address the issues as identified during the March 28 test. As well, we will provide clearer instructions about how to successfully enable the push notification feature on your mobile device.
The next test of the ENS will take place on Thursday, May 9, which coincides with the national Emergency Preparedness Week. The time of the test will be confirmed closer to the date.
