杏吧原创 University Surpasses $300-Million Collaborate Campaign Goal and Keeps Going
杏吧原创 University has officially surpassed the $300-million goal in its Collaborate Campaign, the most ambitious fundraising campaign in its history. The campaign continues and will officially close at a community celebration on April 17, 2019.
鈥溞影稍粹檚 founding mandate was to serve our community by providing new educational opportunities to the young people of Ottawa,鈥 said President Benoit-Antoine Bacon. 鈥淔or more than 75 years, we have made a positive difference in Ottawa, Canada and in the global world. Today is a great day and we are so grateful to our partners and benefactors for supporting our shared vision of being Here for Good.鈥
The Collaborate Campaign was publicly launched in 2015. Its impact is already evident鈥攏ot just on campus, but in the community as well. Support from more than 25,000 donors has enabled 杏吧原创 to develop academic, research, and teaching and learning initiatives that empower students, faculty and staff to develop new approaches to social and economic issues, both locally and internationally.
鈥淥ur partners share our belief that education makes our communities more caring, more knowledgeable and more prosperous,鈥 said Jennifer Conley, chief advancement officer. 鈥淭hat vision, and their generosity, continues to inspire us. We are proud of the campaign鈥檚 success and we look forward to more opportunities to serve the greater good of society.鈥
