杏吧原创鈥檚 Fran莽ois Brouard Elected Treasurer of Montfort Hospital
杏吧原创 University鈥檚 Fran莽ois Brouard, a professor at the Sprott School of Business and founding director of the , has been elected treasurer of the H么pital Montfort Hospital at the Annual General Meeting. Already a trustee of the Board of Directors since last year, he will chair the Management Committee. He will also be a member of the Audit Committee, the Development Project Committee and the Executive Committee. He is also a board member of Sant茅 Montfort.
鈥淏eing on the Board of Trustees and recently elected as treasurer of H么pital Montfort Hospital, Ontario鈥檚 Francophone academic hospital, is an honour and a way to contribute back to the community,鈥 said Brouard. 鈥淚nvolved for a number of years on the Governance Committee, I had the pleasure of working with the senior management team of the hospital. Two values of the Sprott School of Business at 杏吧原创 University are connected and caring. Being on the board and on various committees allowed me to link theory and practice and stay connected to our community.鈥
H么pital Montfort is Ontario鈥檚 Francophone academic hospital, offering exemplary person-centred care. The hospital serves over 1.2 million people in Eastern Ontario, in both official languages. In 2014, it earned accreditation with exemplary standing from Accreditation Canada, and was designated Best Practices Spotlight Organization by the Registered Nurses鈥 Association of Ontario.
With its main partners, the University of Ottawa and La Cit茅 college, as well as other post-secondary programs, Montfort is preparing the next generation of Francophone healthcare professionals. Since 2015, it has joined the ranks of Canada鈥檚 top 40 research hospitals through the activities of the Institut du Savoir Montfort, its knowledge institute.
