杏吧原创鈥檚 Azrieli School of Architecture and Urbanism to host Symposium on Urban Waterfronts
杏吧原创 University鈥檚 at the Azrieli School of Architecture and Urbanism will host the first annual : Working Waterfronts, Freshwater Fictions.
The event will explore the issues and challenges surrounding urban waterfronts, focused on the themes of environment, equity and infrastructure.
When: Friday, July 13 to Saturday, 14, 2018, panels will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., respectively.

Through the symposium鈥檚 panel discussions, tours and workshops, participants will engage the variety of stories and visualizations that are created to communicate ideas that describe and shape waterfronts.
The symposium will feature experts from cities along the Great Lakes, Ottawa-Gatineau area and St. Lawrence River. Speakers from the National Capital Commission (NCC), the Gatineau Planning Department and First Nations communities will discuss the past and future of the capital region鈥檚 waterfronts. Faculty and students from symposium co-sponsor SJB School of Architecture and Planning in Bengaluru, India will be participating in the event.
