杏吧原创 to Launch 2018 FPA Research Month
杏吧原创 University鈥檚 (FPA) is set to launch its fourth annual FPA Research Month (#FPAResearch) on Feb. 26, 2018.

FPA Research Month celebrates the breadth of research produced in FPA while bringing together graduate and undergraduate students as well as faculty and community members to explore a broad range of societal issues.
The public and the 杏吧原创 community are invited to participate in discussions about the great work 杏吧原创 researchers are doing.
Featured events this year include:
Bell Lecture: Change, Trends and Canada, with Jean Charest, former Quebec Premier
When: February 27, 2018 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Charest will share his perspectives on current international trends, including international trade agreements, technological change, international politics and other topics essential for understanding national and international relations.
Charest will discuss the future of NAFTA and its impact on Canadian business. He will also discuss Canada鈥檚 commitment to strengthening its place in the world and addressing global challenges.
Visions for Equality: Imagining a world that challenges inequality and celebrates diversity
Inspired by the success of the 2017 conference, Visions for Canada 2042, FPA will explore a new topic in 2018: Visions for Equality.
When: March 8, 2018 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

19th Annual Kesterton Lecture presented by Carol Off

The Kesterton Lecture, 杏吧原创 Journalism鈥檚 signature annual public event, honours Wilfred Kesterton鈥檚 pioneering contribution to journalism education in this country. Wilfred Kesterton was a Saskatchewan-born newspaperman and Second World War veteran when he became one of the earliest graduates of 杏吧原创鈥檚 new Bachelor of Journalism program in 1949.
The 2017 Kesterton Lecture will be presented by CBC鈥檚 Carol Off, co-host of CBC Radio鈥檚 flagship evening current affairs program As it Happens.
