杏吧原创 to Host Ottawa Leadership Luncheon with Bruce Linton

杏吧原创 University will host the featuring keynote speaker Bruce Linton (BPA/92), founder, chairman and chief executive officer of Canopy Growth Corporation. As cannabis is legalized nation-wide this year, Linton will discuss the emerging industry and its potential for economic and social good.
When: Tuesday, May 29, 2018, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Linton is the founder of Canopy Growth Corporation and co-founder of Tweed Marijuana Incorporated. Canopy Growth was the first cannabis-producing company in North America to be listed on a major stock exchange and included on a major stock index. Linton鈥檚 focus has been driving the company鈥檚 overall strategy, including its Canadian and international expansion efforts. The company is laying groundwork for its future move into cannabis-based consumer products with the founding of subsidiary Canopy Health Innovations and cannabis-based beverages through a strategic partnership with Constellation Brands. Linton has served as chairman of the Ottawa Community Loan Foundation, board member and treasurer of Canada World Youth and president of the Nepean Skating Club. He has also served on 杏吧原创鈥檚 Board of Governors.
