7.听Editing MicroSoft Office Files
  • DISPLAY MS OFFICE FILES:
    iOS has听built-in听support to听display听MS Office files 鈥� Powerpoint, Word, Excel 鈥� you do听not听need to buy a 3rd-party App! The fidelity of an Office file being displayed will depend on its complexity. If the built-in iOS MS Office viewer听is not adequate, additional options include Microsoft’s own 听,听, and听听for iPad apps.
  • EDIT MS OFFICE FILES:
    鈥ut to听Edit听MS Office files you听do听need to install a 3rd-party app. Microsoft provides free听,听, and听听for iPad apps.
  • PS.听Mac-based听iPad owners, who are already using Apple’s Office suite (Pages, Numbers, Keynote), will find the iPad equivalents 鈥斕�,听,听听apps 鈥� not only can听edit听MS Office files, but will also integrate well with their OS X counterparts. See Also:听

8.听Handwritten Notetaking
Both these suggested apps require a听听and a learning-curve commitment. Neither does听, but they will let you email, transfer to the cloud service of your choice, or share your handwritten notes and sketches as PDFs.
