Lucy Vorobej received her PhD in History from the University of Waterloo in 2024. Her dissertation, “By Their Own Efforts”: First Nations Health Policy in Canada, 1940s-1970s,” showcases her work, which explores the intersections of healthcare and equity. In 2025, she began a fellowship (the AMS Fellow in Residence for Healthcare History and Interdisciplinary Exchange) with , a charitable organization.
