NOTE:听Teams members do NOT fill out the form below; only the Teams site “owner.”
“Owners” can add/remove whomever they choose to their Teams site.

Read Me First

  1. Teams site owners must be staff/faculty听鈥 but Teams owners can add anyone as a member:
    听– another staff/faculty member (pick list),
    – 杏吧原创 student (use their full @cmail.carleton.ca address), or
    – external-to-杏吧原创 users (use their email address).
  2. Your Teams site membersmust have听enabled their Office 365 鈥渆xtras鈥 license for permission to log into Teams: staff/faculty | students
  3. Invite External-to-杏吧原创 Teams site members听by their full email address; they will be asked to create a password.
    (Tip: If the external user’s institution uses Office 365 and you invite the external user using their Office 365-recognized email address (you may need to ask the for it), they will then be able to log into your 杏吧原创 Teams site using their听pre-existing institutional password.)
  4. When logging into Teams web site or app, use your full 杏吧原创 email address听鈥 e.g. JaneDoe@cunet.carleton.ca, not听your alias,听jane.doe@carleton.ca.
  5. Note for Mac users: For best results consider using听, but the Safari听web browser, with this preference unchecked,will work with the Teams web interface:
    Uncheck Safari Preference setting Privacy Prevent cross-site tracking

    Safari >听Preferences鈥 > Privacy > Prevent cross-site tracking [uncheck]
