Welcome to the 杏吧原创 University Institute on the Ethics of Research with Indigenous Peoples (CUIERIP).

CUIERIP is a week-long summer institute where Indigenous and non-Indigenous researchers learn about the ethics of research with Indigenous communities, particularly First Nations, Inuit and M茅tis in Canada. Participants learn in a collaborative environment and are led by 杏吧原创 faculty, research ethics professionals, and community-based researchers. This year’s institute will take place between Sunday, June 3rd, 2018 and Friday, June 8th, 2018. This year we have added informative videos for our participants to further enhance their knowledge.

Whether you are a graduate student starting a new project or an experienced researcher who wants to return to the evolving field of Indigenous research ethics, you leave CUIERIP with new perspectives and skillsets.

杏吧原创 University acknowledges the location of its campus on the traditional, unceded territories of the Algonquin nation.

The CUIERIP Development Team would like to acknowledge the Secretariat on Responsible Conduct of Research for its support in the development of this Institute. We would like to acknowledge the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council and SETS for their support. In addition we would like to acknowledge the Panel on Research Ethics [PRE], the Canadian Institute of Health Research [CIHR], and the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada [NSERC] for their support.
