ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´

The Centre for Indigenous Support and Community Engagement proudly presents the Kinàmàgawin Indigenous Learning Certificate. The series includes four sessions focused on:

1. Anti-Indigenous racism in Canada,
2. Institutional anti-Indigenous racism and education,
3. Indigenous Student Experiences and the Centre for Indigenous Support and Community Engagement,
4. And practicing allyship and righting relations.

The workshops are three hours in length, run monthly and are offered in the fall, winter and summer terms. The cohorts are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Sessions are currently hosted on campus unless noted otherwise.

Staff and Faculty Registration

Registration for the Kinàmàgawin Indigenous Learning Certificate for ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ staff and faculty is managed through . To register for an upcoming session, follow the instructions below:

1. Log in to ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ Central
2. Under the Employee Services menu, click the Learning and Professional Development tab
3. Click Workshop Registration
4. Select ‘Equity Program’ from the drop-down menu and click “display”
5. Click the circle that corresponds with the workshop you would like to register for
6. Scroll down to the bottom and click the button that says ‘Register/Waitlist’

Student Registration

The Centre for Indigenous Support and Community Engagement is happy to offer student cohorts. Please check out the Student Registration for the Kinàmàgawin Indigenous Learning Certificate page to learn more about dates and registration for this certification.

Note: Participants must attend all four workshops to receive a Kinàmàgawin Indigenous Learning Certificate.
