Indigenous students often face unique challenges related to mental health, wellness, and accessing culturally safe support while navigating post-secondary education. In this webinar, we will be joined by Shaylin Allison from Kids Help Phone (KHP) and Karry Anne Daye from CarePoint Health to discuss resources available to Indigenous students. Shaylin will introduce KHP’s Indigenous initiatives and programs, while Karry Anne will discuss the Indigenous Pathway in the Ontario Structured Psychotherapy program. This webinar will explore how educators, counsellors, and student support staff can connect First Nations, Inuit, and M茅tis students to free, confidential, and culturally grounded mental health resources, as well as practical information, resources, and strategies to support Indigenous student well-being.
