Contract Instructor Opportunities – Fall/Winter 2026-27
The Institute of Interdisciplinary Studies is seeking qualified contract instructors for the Fall/Winter 2026-27 academic year. As a general rule, the minimum qualification is an MA in the appropriate field. Terms and conditions of employment are set out in the Collective Agreement between ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ University and CUPE Local 4600, unit 2.

Required Qualifications
• Must be an Inuk Beneficicary of the Nunavut Land Claims Agreement
• Preference given to those who demonstrates knowledge of Inuit issues, culturally relevant teachings, and community-engaged research
• Preference given to applicants who have the ability to speak in Inuktitut
• Ability to share information to students in decolonial approaches
• Ability to travel as required for the land-based segment of the course
