Registration for both dates are currently open!

Courses are being offered at a reduced rate of $160 (tax included).

ASIST is a comprehensive, two day course consisting of audiovisuals, discussions, and simulations designed to teach you how to help someone with thoughts or plans of suicide. You will learn how to recognize signs of suicide, provide a skilled intervention, and develop a safety plan to help someone choose to stay alive.

Course Details:
Dates: September 28th & 29th, 2024 and October 26th & 27th, 2024
Time: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: In Person at ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ University, room TBD
Cost: $160.00 (tax included).

Students who attend the event will learn how to brand themselves to potential employers and how to make their resumes stand out from the crowd. This is a hands-on, interactive workshop, and attendees will be asked to bring their updated CVs and LinkedIn profiles on a laptop or printed. Attendees will leave the event with:

  • An updated CV
  • An updated LinkedIn profile
  • Worksheets and key takeaways with all of the information shared
  • A certificate of Workshop Day completion

She was one of the graduates .

Aditi is a testament to success through an open mind and positive outlook. Growing up in a small town in India, she never expected to come to Canada to pursue a Master’s degree. That was until she found the website of and saw herself in that research program. Aditi has a bachelor’s degree in architecture, which prepared her well for graduate studies in HCI. Her focus has been to design technology that works in the real world for real people. This has served her well throughout the inevitable ups and downs of graduate studies. To succeed, she also speaks to how much you can learn through interacting with your colleagues.

Aditi now plans to start her career in Ottawa as a user experience researcher.
