Royal Society of Canada Elects Prof. Donald Beecher as Fellow
English Department Professor Donald Beecher was recognized with one of Canadian academia鈥檚 highest honours for Canadian research excellence. Donald Beecher and Lenore Fahrig were as Fellows to the Royal Society of Canada (RSC) on Sept. 7, 2016.
Prof. Beecher鈥檚 has included the translation and scholarly editing of numerous Renaissance works. His research interests involve early English prose fiction, English and continental Renaissance drama, Renaissance folk tales, and the implications of cognitive sciences for the production and reception of literature.
