Biography: Dr. Markus Kaim has taught and held fellowships at universities on both sides of the Atlantic. Dr. Markus Kaim is Senior Fellow at the (SWP). He has been a Professor for German and European Studies at the University of Toronto (2007-2008), and Acting Professor for Foreign Policy and International Relations at the University of Constance (2007). He was a Visiting Fellow at the American Institute for Contemporary German Studies at Johns Hopkins University (2005). Since 2012, he is Adjunct Professor at the and Guest Instructor at the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin.

Previously, Dr. Kaim has been a guest lecturer with the Centre for European Studies and is a European collaborator with the Canada-Europe Transatlantic Dialogue.
Dr. Markus Kaim cotaught the course European Integration and European Security (EURR4104/5104/PSCI4608/PSCI5608) at ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ University in the summer session 2018. His participation in the course was co-funded by the Jean Monnet Chair in EU Relations with Russia and the Eastern Neighbourhood.
