DSAAI students wishing to enroll in a course that is not on the approved DSAAI Approved Elective Courses list must submit this form to a request pre-approval to have an alternate elective course count towards their degree.

Please note that submitting this form does not guarantee approval of your request.

Note for thesis and project students: All thesis and project students are assigned one or more supervisors. It is mandatory for supervised students to consult with their supervisor when selecting courses, this includes requests for a permission for credit. Please send an email to DSAAI@carleton.ca identifying your supervisor's approval for taking a permission for credit before you submit this form.
